Breaking the Investment Barrier in Central Asia:

Bringing Business to Energy Markets in Transition

20 – 21 September 2019, International Hotel Tashkent, Uzbekistan

What is EIF?

The Energy Investment Forum (EIF) is the regions flagship event to enable private investments. About $1 trillion worth of energy sector investment is needed in the region up to 2030 (excluding PRC). Governments acknowledge that public sector alone will not be able to meet those financing needs. EIF hence shall act as a vehicle to attract investors to the region.

This years EIF comes at a critical juncture for the region: Bold sector reforms are being executed and new policies are emerging in response to the global energy transition. #EIF2019 shall help investors to better navigate through this changing landscape.

Energy ministers from the region will personally intervene at the forum amongst other high-level speakers from the energy industry.

Who should attend:

  • Government, regulators, policy makers
  • Regional investors, equipment manufacturers, project developers, suppliers
  • Development banks, private banks, investment funds, insurers
  • Regional opinion makers and think tanks
