Tatyana Polyanichkina

Tatyana Polyanichkina has graduated from the Almaty Institute of Energy and Communications in 2004 and gained master’s degree in business administration at the Lomonossov Moscow State University in 2014. She has been working in the power industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan for more than 15 years. Since 2004, she worked in the JSC Kazakhstan electricity and power market operator (JSC KOREM) and rose from a specialist to the head of the department of centralized trade of electric energy.

In 2018 she worked in the Financial Settlement Center of RE LLP. The Financial Settlement Center is the only company in Kazakhstan engaged in the centralized purchase and sale of electricity produced by the largest renewable energy plants.

At the end of 2018, she returned to the JSC KOREM as Deputy Chairman of the Board. Professional duties in the company include supervision of activities related to organization and holding «the day in advance» and during operating day spot trades of electric energy, holding centralized trades of electric energy for mid- and long-term periods, holding trades on the electric capacity market and auction for selection of renewable energy projects in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
