Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET)

GWNET is a global network aimed at empowering women, working in sustainable energy. It empowers women in the energy sector through interdisciplinary networking, advocacy, training, coaching and mentoring. GWNET was founded in 2017 and currently have over 2,500 members from more than 100 countries, including countries from Central and West Asia.

Women in Energy Pakistan Network (WIE Pakistan)

The WIE Pakistan network aims to build a strong network of women in Pakistan’s energy sector to develop a culture of career development and leadership. It is present across all major cities in Pakistan and has over 600 members who work in Pakistan’s energy sector and related fields such as clean energy, climate change and environment.

OSCE Mentoring Program

OSCE’s newly launched mentoring program aims to address the gender gap in the renewables sector in Central Asia.

If you are a woman from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, or Uzbekistan with 2-8 years’ experience working in the energy sector, please consider applying for OSCE’s mentoring program. The deadline for applications is 8 March 2022

If you are a senior professional working in the energy sector, please consider sharing your expertise as a mentor to support the personal and professional development of younger professionals. This voluntary engagement will require about 1-1.5 hours of time every month.
