Country Operations Manager (Afghanistan, Albania and Azerbaijan)
As COM (AAA), Dr. Khan is oversees the Bank’s Portfolio in Afghanistan, Albania and Azerbaijan. Dr. Khan joined IsDB in June 2004 as a Young Professional. He has led the formulation of the Energy Sector Strategy for Indonesia, Pakistan and Turkey under the umbrella of the IsDB Member Country Partnership Strategy (MCPS), focusing primarily on the development of indigenous Renewable Energy resources as well as Energy Efficiency Enhancement initiatives. Dr. Khan has a BS from California Institute of Technology and PhD from University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
